Popular transportation options:

• Taxi/Grab: Convenient but expensive. A one-way trip from Da Nang center costs about 250,000–420.000đ (≈$16). The big issue: Grab drivers oftennot familiar with mountain passes, and you’ll have to arrange your own return — it’s not always easy to catch a ride in the cable car station area.
• Rent a motorbike: Not recommended if you’re not used to the mountain passes of Central Vietnam. The road up the mountain is steep, with many large trucks traveling in the same direction.
• Public bus: There is currently no direct route to Ba Na Hills.

Why Arrive Early? The Local Secret

This is the most important “insider tip” I can share: Be at the cable car station by 7:30 AM. The station opens between 7:30–8:00 AM depending on the day.

The reason: Early morning is the only time you can truly enjoy Ba Na Hills in peace. The morning clouds are the most beautiful, the lighting is best for photos, and most importantly — the Golden Bridge is almost empty before 9:30 AM. After 10 AM, especially on weekends, the Golden Bridge gets so crowded that you’ll have to queue for 20–30 minutes just to take one photo.

Detailed Suggested Itinerary

7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Depart from Da Nang. If using the Faifo Express shuttle service, the driver will pick you up at your hotel on time.

8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Purchase tickets (if not bought online) and board the Morin–Ba Na cable car. The cable car ride takes about 15–20 minutes. Sit on the right side of the cabin if you want to look towards the valley — the view is much better.

The buildings are constructed in the style of a 19th-century Southern French town, with a central square, a church, and cobblestone streets. Don’t miss St. Denis Church — inside, there are beautiful stained-glass windows, and in the morning, the light shining through creates a magical effect.

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch (See details in the dining section below)

1:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Fantasy Park This is the largest indoor entertainment area in the complex. It’s suitable for escaping the afternoon sun. It features over 100 games from gentle to adventurous, a wax museum, a 4D cinema, and a dedicated children’s area.

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Sunset Viewing and Descent If the weather is good, the sunset from the peak of Ba Na Hills overlooking Da Nang beach is incredibly impressive. Morin Restaurant Buffet: Located in the French Village, this is the most popular lunch buffet option. Prices range from 250,000–420.000đ (≈$16)/person (2026). The menu is diverse, including Vietnamese dishesand Europe. The quality is decent — not outstanding but filling and tasty enough to continue conquering the amusement park in the afternoon.

Food Court near Fantasy Park: Offers stalls selling noodles, rice, banh mi, and coffee. Prices range from 80,000–180.000đ (≈$7)/dish. This is a more budget-friendly option if you don’t want a buffet.

Ice Cream and Snacks: Scattered throughout the area. Cone ice cream costs around 40,000–72.000đ (≈$3) — more expensive than in town, but enjoying it cool on the mountain is worth it.

1. Golden Bridge: Needs no further explanation. But a little-known tip: instead of taking a photo head-on, go down the stairs below the bridge to capture an upward-looking angle — this angle is less known and much more beautiful than the one from the bridge.

2. Le Jardin D’Amour Flower Gardens: 9 gardens with 9 different themes. “Heaven Garden” and “Love Garden” are the most beautiful. Visit in March–May when the flowers are in full bloom.

3. St. Denis Church: A miniature Gothic architecture, the church bell rings at fixed hours daily — a very special auditory experience.

4. Vong Nguyet Hill (Panoramic Viewpoint): From here, you can see the entire Son Tra peninsula, Da Nang beach, and further to Cham Islands on clear days. This is my favorite spot — less known and usually less crowded than the Golden Bridge.

5. Shakyamuni Buddha Statue and Linh Ung Pagoda: The spiritual area behind the amusement park. The Buddha statue is 27m high, overlooking the East Sea. The atmosphere is serene, a complete contrast to the noisy area in front — a strange but worthwhile combination to experience.

6. Debay Wine Cellar: A classic structure from the French colonial era, restored, located at the highest point of the area. Climb up here to take panoramic photos of the French Village below.

7. Wax Museum in Fantasy Park: Over 100 wax figures of world-famous personalities. It’s not Madame Tussauds but it’s interesting enough to spend 30–45 minutes.
